"Talking Practice" in Ottawa

| Every Tuesday night, in the Ottawa bedroom burb of Barrhaven, I run an open mic comedy show called "Talking Practice". I use these shows to work out new material, (and also try to remember old material). Usually I host. Sometimes I just pop on for a quick spot. Every once in a while, if I feel like it, I will do a longer set to close the show. There are other comedians on the show as well. Most of them are newbies and "up and comers", but I'm friends with a lot of professional comics, (some of whom you may actually have heard of), so you never know who might drop in. There's no cover, but we encourage PWYC, and we are licensed, so 18+ only please. PERFORMING ON THE SHOW If you want a spot on the show, we have at least one "lotto" spot every week. You can put your name in the hat and you might get picked. In the meantime, I encourage you to drop in, check out the show and introduce yourself.
